1. A minimum 10-day advance notice is mandatory before vacating the room. Notice must be sent via WhatsApp to 9909115696 or email to [email protected].
2. If a resident leaves without proper notice, the security deposit will be forfeited.
3. Security deposit refunds will be processed within 30 working days after room handover and clearance of all dues. Refunds will be made through UPI or bank transfer only.
4. The first 30 days’ rent is strictly non-refundable.
5. Online booking charges, registration fees, and advance payments are non-refundable.
6. Monthly rent must be paid on or before the due date. Late payment charges may apply.
7. Smoking, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, gutkha, and any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited inside or around the property.
8. Any resident involved in smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, illegal activities, fighting, harassment, abusive language, or misconduct may be asked to vacate immediately. In such cases, the deposit will be non-refundable.
9. Residents must maintain discipline and behave respectfully with staff, management, and fellow residents.
10. Shoes and slippers are not allowed in designated office and dining areas.
11. Food must be consumed only in designated dining areas. Cooking or storing cooked food inside rooms is not permitted.
12. Visitors and outside guests are not allowed inside rooms without management approval.
13. Loud music, parties, celebrations, shouting, or activities disturbing other residents are strictly prohibited.
14. Residents must keep their rooms and common areas clean at all times.
15. Throwing garbage outside designated dustbins is prohibited.
16. Pets of any kind are not allowed on the property.
17. Any damage to furniture, electrical fittings, walls, doors, windows, appliances, or hostel property will be charged to the resident.
18. Management may deduct damage charges, unpaid rent, utility charges, penalties, or any other dues from the security deposit.
19. Residents are responsible for their personal belongings. Management is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.
20. Room allocation may be changed by management whenever necessary.
21. Room sharing, subletting, or allowing unauthorized persons to stay is strictly prohibited.
22. Electricity charges for AC rooms are extra as per applicable policy. Electricity for Non-AC rooms is included unless otherwise notified.
23. Residents must report maintenance issues immediately to management.
24. Tampering with electrical fittings, Wi-Fi equipment, CCTV systems, locks, or hostel property is strictly prohibited.
25. Management reserves the right to inspect rooms whenever necessary.
26. False information, violation of hostel rules, illegal activities, or behavior affecting other residents may result in immediate termination of accommodation without refund.
27. Any belongings left after vacating may be removed or disposed of by management without responsibility.
28. Parking facilities, if provided, are entirely at the owner’s risk. Management is not responsible for theft or damage.
29. Wi-Fi, electricity, water, housekeeping, food service, and other amenities are provided on a best-effort basis and may be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
30. Residents must follow all applicable laws and government regulations.
31. Devnagari PG & Hostel reserves the right to modify or update these rules at any time.
32. By booking a room, paying fees, or staying at Devnagari PG & Hostel, the resident agrees to all terms and conditions mentioned above.
33. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Gandhinagar, Gujarat only.
34. The decision of Devnagari PG & Hostel Management shall be final and binding in all matters.
35. For any complaint, suggestion, dispute, harassment issue, service issue, refund issue, or any matter related to your stay, residents are requested to first contact the management by email at [email protected]. Email communication will be considered a valid record of correspondence.
36. Residents agree to provide the management with a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve any complaint before taking further action.
37. Devnagari PG & Hostel is committed to supporting residents facing genuine difficulties, including harassment, safety concerns, accommodation issues, college-related guidance, workplace-related concerns, or emergency situations. Residents may contact the management without fear through email.
38. Management may provide guidance, support, or assistance in resolving issues wherever reasonably possible. However, such assistance shall be voluntary and shall not create any legal obligation or liability on the management.
39. Devnagari PG & Hostel shall not be responsible for any personal disputes, employment issues, academic matters, legal matters, accidents, injuries, medical conditions, self-harm incidents, or events occurring outside the hostel premises.
40. Any support, guidance, or assistance provided by the management during emergencies, accidents, disputes, or personal difficulties shall be considered goodwill assistance only and shall not create any responsibility, liability, or legal obligation upon the management.
41. Residents shall not make false allegations, misleading claims, defamatory statements, or malicious complaints against the hostel, its staff, management, or residents. Appropriate legal action may be taken where applicable.
42. By staying at Devnagari PG & Hostel, the resident acknowledges that the management’s role is limited to providing accommodation and related services, and the management shall not be liable for indirect, personal, academic, professional, financial, emotional, or legal consequences arising from a resident’s actions or circumstances.
43. Booking amount, advance payment, and reservation charges are strictly non-refundable in case of booking cancellation, no-show, delayed joining, or change of plans by the applicant.
44. Hostel address, rent receipts, booking confirmation, admission records, or any hostel documents shall not be used as permanent residence proof, business address proof, company registration address, or for any illegal purpose without written permission from management.
45. Residents shall not use hostel premises, Wi-Fi, internet services, electricity, or any hostel facility for fraud, cybercrime, hacking, illegal downloads, gambling, unlawful business activities, or any activity prohibited by law.
46. Any resident found involved in illegal online or offline activities may have their accommodation terminated immediately without refund, and management may cooperate with law enforcement authorities if required.
47. Residents must immediately report any issues related to electrical fittings, fans, ACs, geysers, Wi-Fi, furniture, plumbing, or other facilities to the management.
48. Management will make reasonable efforts to resolve maintenance and electrical issues within 1 to 30 days depending on the nature, availability of parts, vendor support, and technical requirements.
49. During maintenance or repair work, management may provide an alternative room, temporary arrangement, or other suitable solution depending on availability and the nature of the issue.
50. Temporary interruptions in electricity, Wi-Fi, water supply, AC, geyser, or other facilities due to maintenance, technical faults, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond management control shall not be grounds for rent reduction, compensation, or refund.
51. Residents shall cooperate with maintenance staff and management during inspection, repair, replacement, or maintenance work.
